一句句子的所有動詞是否要用同一種 tense？
一句句子多過一個動詞就要加to、ed 或者ing？
為什麼一些疑問句用is/am/are/was/were開頭，另一些用do/does/did開頭?

英文講來順口，聽落順耳就是對的？
如果你對英文文法規則有基本認識，就不會有以上的疑惑。香港學校教授英文失敗之處，是太過散修修，全無系統和連貫性。每當教導學生一些文法規則時，都只是做兩三份練習就算；而且同之前之後所學的全無關連，試問學生又怎能記得呢？又怎能融會貫通呢？作文時也不懂使用，即使偶爾無意中用到，如果錯了也不會知道，因為無論是學校抑或是補習社的老師，大都不會有時間或心機，去指出每一個錯誤，更不用說講解了。
我是1993年澳洲大學國際商貿系畢業生，曾於2002年至2006年間，在港島開辦一間小規模的持牌補習社，同年得到香港政府發出的教師牌照，教授中學生英文。本人十分重視英文文法規則，精於指出文章中的錯誤和糾正謬誤文法概念。 我有自己編寫的教材，供學生學習。十年導師經驗，令我清楚了解華人學生學習英文的難處，常犯的錯誤及其成因，得以針對中文和英文不同的文法概念，重點解釋。
母語是英文的人仕，不太需要學習英文文法，因為他們每天都看到、聽到數以百計正確的英文句子；正如我們每天都看到、聽到數以百計正確的中文句子，所以我們說的寫的中文，大致上都是正確的。母語不是英文的人仕，學習文法規則令學習英文事半功倍。
母語是英文的人未必能夠有效教授華人學習英文，因為部份英語國家的學校，不會教學生英文文法規則。一句句子是對還是錯難不到他們，但為什麼是錯他們就未必知道，只知日常他們自己是不會這樣說或寫的。香港學生留學海外，如果不融入當地社會，不多看書，不鑽研英文文法規則，英文程度便不會比香港本地學生高。
為了回饋社會，我樂意收取象徵式報酬，為非牟利機構教授英文。
近年發現不少提供補習及翻譯服務的專業人仕，以英文介紹自己及所提供的服務時，不知是不小心還是有誤解，經常犯上不少文法錯誤。為免社會大眾誤以為我們業界本身英文水平低劣，決定持續在這裡提出一些見解，與大家分享。本人在多個討論區，都有為學生解答學習英文疑難，自問難免亦有出錯，如蒙不吝賜教，定當感激萬分。

offer myself here for public services. Public services是公益服務，公共服務。補習及翻譯等應該是私人商業服務。
Particularly good at business and economics, different jobs such as writing, Chinese / Eng and Eng / Chinese translation are both welcomed. 究竟誰人熟悉商業和經濟學? Different jobs不可能熟悉商業和經濟學。再者，welcome是不用加d 的。both一字也應刪去，是different jobs are welcome，不是Chinese / Eng and Eng / Chinese translation。
An University Graduate雖然university是u字頭，但它是跟a，不是跟an的。而university graduate的u和g通常是不用大寫的。
had acquired over three years English translation experience on commercial document; correspondences and web-site translation” ‘有三年以上翻譯經驗’應該用現在完成式have acquired而非過去完成式had acquired，用現在式have就更好。Commercial document應該有s 而correspondences應該沒有s。
providing translation and document auditing services for the small to medium company or enterprise應該是 for small to medium companies and enterprises。人們通常講audit accounts和proofread documents，所以 auditing應改為proofreading
Translation service on the legal document will not be provided. 應該是on legal documents，如果用現在式is not provided就較將來式will not be provided更好。
Minimum payment 是”最低付款額” (餘款遲些付) Minimum charge是”最低消費”
“九折”應該是 10% discount or 10% less，不是 10% less discount
“有價講” 應該是 is negotiable 不是 will be negotiable
泛指大專生應該寫 university and post-secondary students不是University and Post-Secondary student，講tertiary students就更好。

“工作和學術”應該是work and studies而非the works and academics，academics是大學教師們/學者們。
I had gained teaching experience when I was invited to teach 20 students解作’我被邀請去教導20名學生之前已經獲得教學經驗’，這個講法有點奇怪，相信應該刪去had一字，解作’我在被邀請去教導20名學生時獲得教學經驗’
基督教勵行會的培訓中心是a Christian Action training centre，不是a Christian Action educational centre(基督教勵行會的教育中心)，通常’教育中心’更會用education而非educational
弱點的英文是weakness / weak point(s) / weak spot(s) 而非weakness parts

Chinese backgrounded tutor的background一字是名詞，是不可以加ed的。只有動詞才可以加ed，成為過去式或過去分詞。
I know the mistakes all non-english speaking persons would make. 不講英文的人是不會犯英文文法錯誤的。我相信應該是non-native English speakers之誤。
